Pear Chocolate Tart: the Perfect Recipe that Melts in Your Mouth

Are you looking for THE pear and chocolate tart that pleases everyone? This tart recipe is my secret to creating the perfect balance between the melting sweetness of pears and the intensity of dark chocolate. The result? A tart that disappears in minutes and guaranteed compliments!

Why this recipe works every time

The problem with classic pear chocolate tarts? They're often bland or soggy. My technique solves both problems:

  • Anti-sogginess barrier with melted chocolate that protects the pastry
  • Perfect pear/chocolate balance thanks to the right dosage (tested 20 times!)
  • Melting texture achieved by my cream mixture method

Pear Chocolate Tart: the Perfect Recipe that Melts in Your Mouth

Instructions

  1. 1

Spread the pastry over the circle or tart pan and line it carefully, making sure to mark the right angle between the pastry base and the edge. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.

  2. 2

Meanwhile, melt the chocolate in the microwave or bain-marie with 4 tablespoons of cream.

  3. 3

Remove the tart pastry and spread the chocolate on the base. Slice the pears into strips and place them on the chocolate base. Apply light pressure on the bottom of the pear to tilt the slices backwards.

  4. 4

Prepare the mixture by combining the cream, egg and sugar (with a spatula and not a whisk to avoid incorporating air) and gently place on the pears.

  5. 5

Bake in the oven at 180°C for at least 30 minutes
