Chocolate Pistachio Cherry Bowl Cake

You now know my passion for breakfasts. Since I opened this blog, it's always a pleasure to find new recipes to "spruce up" my Sunday mornings. I had seen many photos of "bowl cakes" on Pinterest but none of them really caught my eye. I found the photos a bit dull and never very appetizing. And then I came across the recipe from Un siphon fon fon and boom, magic! That's how my chocolate cherry/pistachio bowl cake recipe was born!

Indeed, LadyMilonguera (what a nice nickname!), added a melting chocolate heart that makes the cake super indulgent (I'm being told in my ear that she has since made a version with a peanut butter heart. As for me, I opted for a dark chocolate, pistachios and cherries version.

It's super quick to make (2 minutes in the microwave after mixing all the ingredients), delicious and fairly healthy (except when like me, you put a lot of chocolate in the middle ^^).

It's really a perfect recipe for a weekend breakfast and I have a feeling many variations will follow (I'm already thinking of a flowing red fruit/white chocolate heart).

For the process, it's super simple!
