Ideally the day before serving your dessert, beat the egg whites until stiff with a few drops of lemon. When the mixture starts to become foamy, add the sugar gradually and the teaspoon of cornstarch. When the whites are very stiff, place them on a baking sheet with parchment paper in the shape of a nest. Bake for 1 to 1.5 hours at 90°. Let cool in the turned-off oven (overnight is better).
On the day of serving, beat the whipped cream with the mascarpone and the tablespoon of sugar. Place nicely on the meringue and top with strawberries. Sprinkle with lime zest.
